With over 18 years of experience, Mr. Mohammad Ayyob has established himself as a leading expert in the precious metals industry, specializing in strategy, growth, and business development. As the General Manager of SAM since 2018, he has been instrumental in transforming the company from a startup into one of the top gold and precious metals refineries in the UAE.
Mr. Ayyob expertly manages counterparty relationships and has a deep understanding of the gold and silver supply and demand in the UAE. His strategic initiatives include determining and overseeing all activities at SAM to ensure the highest standards of operation.
Mr. Ayyob graduated with a degree in Marketing and began his career in the automobile industry. He transitioned to the Precious Metals sector in 2009 as the Diamonds and Jewellery Business Development Manager, marking the start of his impactful journey in the industry. Thereafter, Mr. Ayyob served as the General Manager for UAE and the Middle East at Brinks Global Services till 2018. During his tenure, he significantly enhanced the company's market presence by expanding its reach and influence within the region. He also improved operational efficiency through strategic initiatives and process optimizations, leading to increased productivity and profitability. Mr. Ayyob has provided expert insights on high-level issues, including regulatory matters in the precious metals sector, for various government and industry forums.
His extensive experience highlights his deep knowledge of upstream and downstream gold procurement and sales, and his ability to make strategic commercial decisions. He is dedicated to promoting innovative value-added products and has built a robust network within the Middle East's gold and precious metals sector.

Essa Al Falasi is a distinguished professional whose career showcases a blend of technical expertise and entrepreneurial acumen. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Engineering Management, providing him with a strong foundation in both engineering principles and management practices.
His career began at the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), where he gained valuable experience before moving to the metal industry to work with Emirates Global Aluminium and holding senior positions in local and international assignments.
Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Essa founded several private companies specializing in engineering, trading, and procurement services. In 2020, Essa fully embraced his passion for the metals industry by acquiring 100% shares in Emirates Minting Factory LLC. Building on this foundation, he ventured into gold trading with the establishment of Fine Commodities Trading in Year 2022. Essa continues to be a leading figure in the Emirati business landscape, combining his expertise in engineering with his entrepreneurial vision.
In 2024, Essa was elected as a Chairman of Gold and Jewellery Manufacturers Business Group in Dubai Chambers.

With over 20 years of working experience in prominent companies, he has held positions in executive management and business leadership roles. Hussein is result-oriented with a greater focus on the quality of business operations.
He introduces an innovative approach to dealing with business matters and is highly skilled at building relationships with stakeholders. His energetic personality and positive demeanour help employees to stay motivated and engaged at work. He seeks out opportunities to expand his knowledge, develop new skills, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
General Secretary
Anshuman Sharma is currently employed with StoneX Commodities DMCC as Head of Precious Metals – MEA and Indian Subcontinent for the last 10+ years. Where during this period the company has opened several new markets, introduced new products and business has grown consistently.
Anshuman has been associated with the precious metals business for almost 25 years having worked with institutions like Scotia Mocatta, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank. He also has experience working with commodity exchange NCDEX and a trading corporation (Quant) before joining StoneX.
With experience across various types of institutions, he has had the opportunity to experience multiple sides of the trade - as a banker, supplier, exchange executive and trader with exposure to markets across India and overseas.
Anshuman got the chance to set up the export gold business while at HSBC India and later got the opportunity set up and head the precious metals business at Axis Bank and Quant Capital which has was able to accomplish successfully.
He is recognized as a professional who executes and builds businesses. Anshuman has been part of various associations and committees in India and UAE contributing to the policies, product development and improving market practices. He holds a BSc degree in science and MBA specializing in marketing. Harish Pawani

Heading Purshottam Kanji & Co., and Peekay Intermark Limited - bullion trading companies of Purshottam Kanji group in UAE for over 40 years. Member of Comex division of CME since 1989, SIMEX, Singapore since 1984, Board Member of Gold & Jewellery Group, Dubai, Associate member of LBMA and a member advisory group of DMCC for precious metals. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and graduated from Polytechnic Institute of New York, NYC, USA.
He is a permanent trustee on board of Indian High School, Dubai, UAE. A permanent trustee of Purshottam Kanji Kanya Chhatralaya, Mandvi, Kutchh, India – a charitable trust for education of underprivileged girls funded by the Pawani family and a permanent trustee of Purshottam Kanji Charitable Trust, Mumbai, India – a charitable trust funded by the Pawani family.

Sudheesh Nambiath works with DMCC Authority, where he is manager of the precious metals department. His remit is to build and grow the precious metals ecosystem in DMCC. He is also a member of the Executive Office (EO) of the Emirates Bullion Market Committee which functions under the governance of Ministry of Economy, UAE. As a member of the EO he looks into refinery accreditations for UAE Good Delivery standard, promoting UAEGD and extend knowledge support on responsible sourcing. Sudheesh in his earlier role was head of India Gold Policy Centre, IIM Ahmedabad. He has in last twenty years worked with organisations like Thomson Reuters, MF Global (now Philip Capital), and Tower Commodities, as commodities analyst, trader, market intelligence, high level policy advisory, and advocacy on precious metals market regulations. He has numerous publication on gold markets in international media and has acquired skills in area of strategic thinking, policy advisory, implementation and stakeholder engagement.
Sudheesh is a graduate in economics followed by MBA and is certified for Futures Thinking and Foresight to Policy by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.

Ayoub Ahli works at a Retail & Logistics Expert, International Trade and an Entrepreneur.

As the lead negotiator for Rules of Origin, Ayoub has been instrumental in the successful completion of the UAE's CEPA agreements with nations including India, Indonesia, Israel, Turkey, Colombia, Cambodia, Georgia, and Ukraine. His adept negotiation of industry-friendly Rules of Origin has significantly enhanced the benefits for UAE industries
Ayoub is an integral member of the GCC Rules of Origin technical working group, representing the UAE in the negotiation and implementation of GCC FTAs. His focused efforts on the UAE Bullion industry have led to the inclusion of the UAE Good Delivery (UGD) standard in the UAE-India CEPA implementation, thereby elevating the international profile and interest in the UGD certificate.
Actively involved in bullion and precious metals trade issues arising from CEPA implementation, Ayoub also participates in the Trading Goods subcommittee of the UAE-India CEPA, addressing key trade concerns and fostering robust economic ties.
Ayoub recently joined the management team in Emirates Post Group as the General Manager for Emirates Post Retail unit.
